Sophia's Story
BUILDING A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE
Standing 6’2″ tall, Sophia Otten is an imposing presence on both the basketball court and softball mound. But her towering physical stature is matched only by her character, leadership, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
As a senior at Incarnate Word Academy in St. Louis, Sophia has established herself as one of the region’s most accomplished student-athletes. She served as a cornerstone of Incarnate Word’s basketball dynasty that broke the national record with 140 consecutive wins and captured 4 state championships. On the softball field, she dominated as a Class 4 First Team All-State Pitcher, recording 17 wins, 200 strikeouts, and a remarkable 1.14 ERA in her senior season.
Sophia’s success isn’t just about natural talent—it’s about dedication and disciplined preparation. Whether in athletics, maintaining her stellar 4.29 GPA, or leading as President of the Student Council, Sophia brings unwavering commitment to everything she pursues.
As the daughter of two business owners, entrepreneurship and leadership run in Sophia’s DNA. She combines athletic excellence with business acumen, already establishing herself as a mentor and trainer for younger athletes while she explores her interest in pursuing sports media.
At the University of Evansville, where she’s committed to play softball, Sophia won’t just be joining a program—she’ll be elevating it with the same dedication, leadership, and character that has defined her remarkable high school career.
